Sam Kang'ara Kamau is a builder, researcher and storyteller passionate about leveraging technology to solve problems. He focuses on building cutting-edge technology to power the developing world. As a child of Africa and citizen of the world, Sam is on a mission to build the continent's technical capacity while helping cultivate a shared cultural identity across all Africans: both on the continent and across the diaspora. Sam is the Founder of Ridhika - a youth empowerment organization focused on creating East Africa's next generation of innovators.

Sam graduated from Middlebury College where he studied Economics and Computer Science. At Middlebury, he was a Social Entrepreneurship Fellow. Over the years, he has been involved in building platforms and products for the United Nations, conducted research at the Harvard Business School and has worked with startups to create technology that improves Africans' access to basic needs. Sam is currently a Product Manager at Qualtrics where he gets to build data products that help companies better understand customers.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys reading, the outdoors, listening to music (especially live performances) and playing sports.
